Bibi Kabad is a name of a village in the Hamadan region of Iran. Many nice rugs and carpet were woven there for export purposes. Because of the unique weaving style these items are easily recognizable. Bibikabad-rugs are usually made with relatively thick thread with high quality durable wool. 

Mostly Herati- (Mahi-) Designs are used for them. Altogether the Bibikabad is a reliable and durable rug which can be used heavily for a long time.
